Sexual Health Services - from 1 August  2021  

  • Attendance at all of the Sexual Health Clinics is by appointment only. 
  • To make an appointment at any of the clinics, call the booking line:  

                   01324 673554, Monday to Friday, 0830 – 1230.   

Appointments should be available for the current or following week.  

The online booking service is not currently available.  

When attending the clinic:

You must attend on your own to reduce the risk of exposure to NHS staff.    

  • New Government Guidance requires you to wear a surgical mask (a fabric mask is not suitable) when attending NHS services. Masks will be provided if you do not have one. 
  • Please use hand gels available. 


 **Should you have symptoms of Coronavirus, you must call your GP or NHS 24.  You must not attend a clinic in person - Further information 

Contraception and Sexual Health Clinics provide the following: 

  • Contraception, including emergency contraception and condoms 
  • Longer lasting contraception, ie. implants and coils 
  • Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, including HIV 
  • Safer sex advice, general advice and support

     All clinics are by appointment only.

We aim to see patients requiring urgent care, within two working days.  Patients with non-urgent conditions may be asked to call back at an alternative time. 

 Please note:  

  • Emergency contraception is also available from community pharmacies.  
  • Testing for Sexually Transmitted Infections and contraception can also be carried out by your GP.
