Private Touching

Children and young people should understand that a desire to touch their own bodies, and other people, is a natural and healthy part of growing up, but that there are boundaries. This section covers appropriate touching and includes boundaries around touching other people and public and private direction for touching ourselves.

Incorporates a range of Health and wellbeing outcomes including
H&WB 2-45b  I am aware of the need to respect personal space and boundaries H&WB 2-48a I can describe the physical and emotional changes during puberty, understand why they are taking place and the importance of personal hygiene
